The Shed Cafe will be open for morning teas, coffee and nibbles. We will also be running the Mosman Park Men's Shed, Ukraine Emergency Appeal during the day which, when tallied up, will be forwarded via the Red Cross, Ukraine Crisis Appeal to those in need. Plus, we will be available to help you with the sale of Shed-made wooden toys and other items plus Shed propagated plants. This is a chance for non-Shed Members (of any sex) to learn the basics about tools and home maintenance, etc. The course will run over four consecutive Friday afternoons in August 2021 - 13th, 20th, 27th plus September 3rd, from 1pm to 4pm, and will broadly encompass the following subjects (others might be included on request): Basic description of "handyman" tools & their uses including hands-on experience. Fillers, Paintwork repairs, Doors & Hinges, Locks, Hanging Paintings, Plumbing, Roof & Guttering, Windows, Basic Reticulation. Simple Electrical queries; Tiling, Wood Finishes. The cost of the course is $80.00 per person which includes afternoon tea on each of the four afternoons and covers any materials used.
