What's Under the Bonnet 2026 ~ 2027

This course covers basic motor vehicle maintenance for internal combustion engine powered vehicles. The course is open to anyone (over the age of 16) who is interested – you do not need to be male or a member of the Shed.

There are four (4) dates available so just select the date that you prefer and purchase tickets accordingly. If that date is fully booked, maybe try another date. If you can't make any of these dates but would like to know when next years courses are running then please send an email to treasurer@mpms.org.au with your contact details.

Topics covered include:

• The owner’s manual.
• Fuel.
• What’s under the bonnet.
• Windscreen washers and windscreen wipers.
• Checking the engine coolant level.
• Checking the engine oil level.
• Checking the brake/clutch fluid level.
• The battery.
• Wheels and tyres.
• Jacking the vehicle (this will be demonstrated during the course).
• Driving at night.
• Personal safety.
• What to do if you are involved in a vehicle accident.

Attendees should wear clothing appropriate to the tasks being covered, e.g. covered shoes, no loose or dangling clothing – including scarves, etc.

The fee includes morning tea.

Mosman Park Men’s Shed Inc (Shed) reserves the right to take photographs at any time (including members and visitors), both inside the Shed boundaries and at external events organised by the Shed.  Such photographs will remain the property of the Shed and may be used for promotional purposes, both wholly and partially, in the future.
